It's official...Today is Daddy's 53rd birthday!!!.......

Well, I know I'm NOT supposed to reveal his age, but what the heck..you always look 25 to me!! =) ( Hope my mum, doesn't see this!! ) =p

I'm in a VERY CHIRPY mood .today.. Am leaving work early today for his celebration!! Today on facebook , someone asked me whether if my DAD will see the BIRTHDAY wishes on facebook, well....He doesn't have a FACEBOOK account, but his friends are on my FACEBOOK!! ( Hmm...maybe it's time he gets one....wait...then he will have ACCESS to all my pictures and friends huh?? , Not a very good idea after all )

Beauty Pageants and Such....

Beauty Pageants.....


What's the first thing that comes to your mind when I mentioned the word "beauty pageant" ?


Hmm.. I don't know about you, but I grew up watching Miss Universe, Miss World pageants, etc.. And like any other girl, I was also curious about the pageant-ry world. Also, I never knew I had the opportunity of being a finalist of any beauty pageants because like anyone, WE ALL HAVE OUR INSECURITIES!! =)


My First - Ever ( official) pageant experience would be the Miss Johor Tourism Queen of The Year which I participated way back in 2006. And... buoy, I have to admit it was DEFINITELY an EYE-OPENING experience... I was not from Johore ( I'm born and bred in Kuala Lumpur) but it was during a semester break and I was persuaded by a University mate to join. Then I thought, why not??


Then.....I submitted the entry form and some pictures and then I was called in for an interview session to confirm the finalist...

And then, the last thing I know... I was already one of the finalist...

Representing Malaysia for the Miss Universe pageant in Mexico City... I know it's not my best shot and my hair was WAY....WAY shorter back then..

I know alot of you out there beg to differ about a delegate representing your home country to compete in the Miss Universe pageant....


" You have to bring your country honour and pride" . You don't even look good enough for a beauty queen for your country, and you are representing your country for Miss Universe???!?!?! "


" You don't even speak good enough English"


" You are the UGLIEST beauty queen ever in Miss Universe history"


" You are the shame to the nation"


" The judges are probably blind or Bribed to send someone like that for the pageant"



Well......

The above are just some of the comments or feedbacks from people who thinks I'm the "UNDESERVING" Beauty Queen...

At the end of the day, it does not really matter to me.... because......


" WHATEVER THAT YOU DO IN LIFE ( BOTH GOOD OR BAD), PEOPLE WILL COMMENT AND CRITICIZE, SO AT THE END OF THE DAY, IT'S YOUR LIFE, LIVE ANYHOW YOU WANT IT, REALLY"

Hey peeps, sometimes people make many assumptions about me or even they stereotyped me to a certain level that it annoys me. So, here it is, the 100 Things You Didn't Know About Me. =)


1. I meant what I said what I meant. Enough said. Period.
( People who wants me to take back my words ( eg; on my blog/ in real-life, sorry la.. CANNOT!!)


2. I am a very lazy person. No one can beat that!!


3. I loved to spend on skincare n cosmetics. ( Thanks to SK-11, for sposoring me, if not I will be filed or bankruptcy).hee hee =p


4. I studied locally and earned my degree locally. (Multimedia University)


5. I love to eat.


6. I am a stubborn person


7. My actual height ( 170cm), 5 feet 7 inches.


8. I can have sushi/ japanese food seven days in-a-row.


9. My dad is a good cook. Very spontaneous, can whipped up a hearty meal with leftovers in a fridge.


10. My mum isn't a bad cook either, she is just priviledged to get someone to do it for her..hehe =p
